Illusion 2020 Procreate

"Illusion 2020", it was the prompt provided by Procreate for this year's art contest. My idea was the "illusion" of a "relax day" (as the card on the kitchen table says", when it comes to kids. The piece I entered was a lot darker than this, after a few days of not looking at it, I went back to correct it to make it lighter and use saturation for the focal point.

A few weeks later I went back again and completely changed the color design. I had applied too many colors and the piece had lost it´s focus. Just imagining that Nathan Fowkes might review my portfolio for LightBox Expo gave me the energy to revisit this piece a third time. Just thinking about Nathan shouting "there's no focus!!!" got me moving fast hahahahahaha.

I will definitely participate next year again :)
