Vis Dev Character Design - Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde Character Design

For the course "Fundamentals of Character Design" with Stephen Silver, the project´s idea was to rethink character designs for the story of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde. Up to that point I had never heard of the story and listened to an audio of it... I have to admit I quite enjoyed it and the idea behind it is very intriguing. Trying to follow along that idea I redesigned the characters to still be one but make it look as two.

During the day Dr.Jekyll is a wonderful hero, fighting against the evil Mr.Hyde, who he never sees physically but he does see his plans and foils them. But, when the sun sets, Dr.Jekyll falls deeply asleep, because that´s his weakness, at night he doesn´t exist. But that´s because he transforms into Mr.Hyde, who spends all hours of the night making up plans to take down the world. Neither knows they are the same person, and all they do is fight in a vicious loop between each other.
